DLJ Protects Society DBA ACARES

Always Caring Amateur Radio Experimentation Society

Amateur radio, care, education, and a place for young adults who need a safe landing — built for the future with AI.

Amended Purpose

To promote amateur radio experimentation, education, and public service by collecting and sharing knowledge, documenting all experiments and findings, providing kits and equipment for members to experiment with, and archiving the results for the amateur radio community.

To protect those who cannot protect themselves and to give young adults a secure and safe place to live when they have lost their home and security through no fault of their own.

Our Oath

I pledge kindness and consideration to all beings, at all times. I take no position against another being. I ask freely, and I accept that everything may be examined. No license or credential grants authority over another. Knowledge is shared freely, documented fully, and archived for all.

Mobile Unit

We are building a mobile ham station with Starlink and the equipment needed to run it. Goals include Parks on the Air (POTA) activations and meet-ups with members across the five counties.

Membership & ELMA AI

Membership to AC4RES is $5 per month. USF students are free. Every member gets access to ELMA AI — a RAG agent that pulls from all data sent into the club. Send in an experiment and you can ask about it later; the data is recalled.

Always Caring Amateur Radio Society is about helping others learn and experiment, and about having that data available when it’s needed in the future. Built for the future in conjunction with AI.
